There’s still time to sign up for the East Troy Lions Club’s annual Fourth of July Parade.
The “Remember Our Past and Look to the Future” themed parade begins at 1 p.m. on Sunday, July 5, featuring the Racine Kilties Drum and Bugle Corps, Pioneer Drum and Bugle Corps, Blue Saints Drum and Bugle Corps, East Troy High School Band, Sun Prairie Marching Band, Red Hot Dixie Jazz Band and more.
The parade, one of the biggest in the area, draws hundreds of participants and attracts crowds of spectators along the route. It will begin at the corner of Main and West streets and travel east to the Village Square, north on Division Street, west on Elm Street, south on Beulah Avenue and west on Graydon Avenue.
Organizations, service groups, businesses and others interested in participating in the parade can sign up now to reserve a spot in the lineup. The deadline to register is Friday, July 3.
