The East Troy Electric Railroad will host an "Evening in Rome" themed dinner train from 5-8 p.m. on Saturday, July 30. The menu includes: Garlic Butter Steak Ala Roma or Grilled Tilapia Florentine {Grape tomatoes, spinach, garlic, butter and wine}, Red Skinned Parmesan Mashed Potatoes, Sicilian Vegetable Medley, and Tiramisu for dessert. Complimentary drink for each guest.

There is nothing like the luxury of dining aboard first class railroad cars the way people did a generation ago. Enjoy a great meal while traveling round trip from East Troy to Phantom Lake. The Evening in Rome themed dinner train costs $77 per person. Cost includes meal and gratuity. Bar service is also available. Onboard restrooms are provided. The dress code is business casual and high heels are not recommended. Seating is limited and prepaid reservations are required at least one day prior to event. Reservations are non-refundable.

Check in and boarding is done at the East Troy Depot, 2002 Church Street, at 5 p.m. and departs at 5:30 p.m.
The train takes a leisurely trip to Phantom Lake, pauses on the shoreline, then proceeds to Indianhead Park. Passengers have the option to disembark from the train while we remain in the park for about 15 minutes. Dessert and after dinner drinks are served on the return trip.
