Talking About Nature: Hoo's Woods

On Saturday, June 19th 2021 @ 10:00AM at Lutherdale Retreat Center

Have you ever seen an immense Bald Eagle up close? How about some diminutive owls? They may vary greatly in size, but all are raptors, birds of prey. Here is your invitation to learn more about these fascinating birds, up close and personal.

Kettle Moraine Land Trust is resuming its educational series, "Talking About Nature," from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 19 at the outdoor pavilion on the grounds of Lutherdale, north of Elkhorn.

The one-hour session, suitable for all ages, promises to be fun and informative, presented by Hoo's Woods Raptor Center, a rescue and rehabilitation center that focuses on public education. Meet a Bald Eagle and three other birds of prey, learning about their important roles in the environment.

There is no fee for this event but advance registration is required. (Freewill donations always are accepted with gratitude.) Contact rachel@kmlandtrust.org to register, or for more information.
