Milwaukee Public Television will host a screening of the episode of “Around the Corner with John McGivern” featuring East Troy on Monday, April 13 in the Edelweiss Room at Alpine Valley Resort, W2501 County Road D. The show starts at 7 p.m. and is free and open to the public.

Local “celebrities” who are featured in the show will be on hand as John McGivern and some of the crew give the community a behind the scenes look at the filming of the East Troy episode. The Emmy Award-winning host and his crew spent Sept. 16-19 in East Troy shooting for the show, which explores life in Wisconsin communities. The East Troy episode of “Around the Corner with John McGivern” will air at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 16 on channels 10 and 10.1 and 36.2 HD and will repeat on Sunday, April 19 at 7 p.m. on channels 36 and 36.1 HD

The show airs in Minnesota, Iowa, Chicago and every PBS station in Wisconsin.
