EAST TROY ELECTRIC RAILROAD MUSEUM
The East Troy Electric Railroad, Wisconsin’s last original electric railroad line, is celebrating its 110th year of operation. The railroad’s 2017 schedule will include more trains and dinner trains, as well as a longer route that includes a stop at Indianhead Park in Mukwonago. Passengers can pick up the train at either the East Troy Depot, Elegant Farmer or Indian Head Park in Mukwonago with regular weekend service through Nov. 5. Friday trains will run June 9 through Aug. 25.
A variety of antique trolleys and interurban coaches that once whisked passengers from major cities to surrounding towns and nearby summer retreats will be featured during the season. Special event days include Railfan Day on June 24, Chicago Day July 8, Night Photo Shoot Sept. 16 and Milwaukee Day Sept. 23.
2017 theme trains include: Burger Train on May 20 and Oktoberfest Train on Oct. 1.
The railroad returns its award-winning dinner train on June 17 (Father’s Day), July 8 (Surf & Turf), Sept. 16 (Indian Summer), Oct. 7 (Fall Harvest), Oct. 14 (Sweetest Day) and Oct. 21 (Pumpkin Express).
Pizza Trains are May 13, June 3, Aug. 5 and Aug. 19. Fares are $12.50 for adults, $10.50 for seniors and $8 for youth 3-14. Children younger than 2 ride for free.

KUBICKI MUSEUM & HERITAGE CENTER
The East Troy Area Historical Society’s Kubicki Museum and Heritage Center on the village square provides a showcase of local history including changing exhibits, artifacts, books, maps, documents, photographs and other materials.
