The company, which has been designing, engineering, and manufacturing industrial ovens and other heating equipment for 40 years, will expand operations to the Young Street property through 2019. 

The former Plymouth facility is located between two other Wisconsin Oven factories and offers over 130,000 square feet of manufacturing space. 

Wisconsin Oven’s total investment in the East Troy community will exceed $2.5 million after purchase and renovation of the site.

“We are very excited to secure this facility,” according to Dave Strand, Wisconsin Oven President and CEO. “Over the next year we will be doing some extensive renovation and plan on hiring 80-90 employees between 2017-2019.” 

The company currently has about 175 employees in East Troy. Plymouth Tube, based in Warrenville, Ill., closed the 2061 Young St. plant in 2014 but still operates its Trent Mill at 2056 Young St. 

Wisconsin Oven Corporation was founded in 1973, and has grown to be a world leading manufacturer of industrial ovens and heat treating equipment.

Its custom and standard industrial ovens are used for a multitude of applications, including heat treating, finishing, drying or curing.
