72nd Annual Fourth of July Celebration

On Thursday, July 2nd 2009 @ 12:00AM at The event is based at the East Troy Amusement Park on Graydon Avenue next to the East Troy Lions Public Library.
The East Troy Lions Club will host its 72nd Annual Fourth of July Celebration with a huge carnival on the midway and the area’s largest beer tent featuring the area’s hottest bands all four days.   Fireworks are scheduled for Friday, July 3 at dark (no rain date), with the Kiddie Parade, Truck & Tractor Pull, Car Show and Softball Tournament set for Saturday, July 4.  The parade will step off at 1 p.m. on Sunday with the theme "It’s Still A Grand Old Flag."  The parade will begin at the corner of Main Street and West Street.  It will go east to the Village Square, north on Division Street, west on Elm Street, south on Beulah Avenue and west on Graydon Avenue.
Carnival wristbands will be available Thursday, July 2 from 5-10 p.m.; Friday, July 3 from 2-7 p.m.; and Sunday, July 5 from 2-7 p.m.  The cost is \$12 in advance (sold at Gus's Drive-In, or Rhode's Towing) and \$16 at the gate.
