The Primex Family of Companies (Chaney Instrument Company, Klockit, Primex and Primex Wireless), based in Lake Geneva, has raised over \$10,000 this summer towards their 2011 fundraising goal of \$20,000 for the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s.  They have already sponsored many fundraising events but still have a big “Walk Weekend” coming up.  Besides hosting a team in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s on September 17^th at Library Park in Lake Geneva, they have a fundraiser on Friday, September 16 at Hemingway’s, N3270 County Road H in Lake Geneva.

This Alzheimer’s Benefit from 5-11 pm will feature a pig roast, live music by “Under Cover”, a silent auction and raffles for great gifts and prizes.  Dinner is 5-8 pm, the band starts at 7 pm, and raffles go all night.  Admission at the door is \$15/adult and \$9/children (ages 6-12), while kids 5 and under are free.  There are discounted advance sale tickets available.  Contact Maggi Hayes at 249-3046 or email mhayes@primexinc.com for more information.
