Memorial Day Observance

The Memorial Day Observance will be held on the historic village square beginning at 10:30 a.m. following a parade, which begins at the intersection of Main Street and Beulah Avenue and proceeds east on Main Street to the square. The program includes dedication of the new Veterans Memorial Wall, local representatives to Badger Girls and Badger Boys State, a 21-gun salute for veterans who have passed away and roll call of the veterans who have passed away during the past year. Participants include members of Loomis-Martin American Legion Post 188, VFW Post 7501, East Troy High School Band, East Troy Middle School Band, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts. A ceremony at the graveside on the most recently deceased veteran will take place following the ceremony on the historic village square.
