Attend a meeting to discuss the East Troy Connect Communities initiative at 3 p.m. tomorrow, Wednesday, Oct. 28 at Ivan's on the Square.

The initiative, which is being led by the East Troy Community Development Alliance and the Walworth County Economic Development Alliance, works with communities to advance downtown and urban corridor revitalization efforts.

The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation named East Troy one of 18 new Connect Communities this summer.

The Connect Communities program is a complementary program to the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation’s Wisconsin Main Street Program, a downtown revitalization program targeting the historic and economic redevelopment of traditional downtown business districts.
