Slow Cooking Your Fall Harvest

The East Troy Public Library, 3094 Graydon Ave., will present “Slow Cooking Your Fall Harvest” at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 29. UW-Extension Family Living Educator Jenny Wehmeier will give some tips and tricks for cooking with fall harvest vegetables like sweet potatoes, squash and carrots. Samples of a few of her delicious recipes will handed out, and Wehmeier will also go over some important slow cooker do’s and don’ts. This program is free, but pre-registration is required.
