The East Troy Public Library, 3094 Graydon Ave., will host Animals as Everyday Heroes at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 7. Local children’s entertainer/educator Sharon Coyle will give a short presentation about all the ways animal friends help out – from helping people with disabilities perform daily tasks to working alongside police officers and firefighters. She will also lead children attendees through a simple craft activity and introduce Brandy, a therapy dog that visits area nursing homes.  This program is designed for pre-school and kindergarten age children, but older and younger siblings are welcome. For more information, call (262) 642-6262.

Special Thanks to Wisconsin Oven Corporation, our longest standing member of over 47 years.
