The East Troy Lions Public Library, 3094 Graydon Ave., will show The Martian, a sci-fi film starring Matt Damon at 3 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 26. Damon plays astronaut Mark Watney, who is part of a manned mission to Mars. Watney is presumed dead after a fierce storm and is left behind by his crew. But Watney has survived and finds himself stranded and alone on a hostile planet. With only meager supplies, he must draw upon his ingenuity, wit, and spirit to survive and find a way to signal to Earth that he is alive
The film is rated PG-13. No registration is required to attend. Popcorn and lemonade will be served.
