The East Troy Lions Public Library, 3094 Graydon Ave., will host an "Affordable Care Act/Marketplace and Other Insurance Options" information session from 3 to 6 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 29.
With the "open enrollment season" for the Affordable Care Act under way, the library has partnered with Katherine Gaulke, a local expert in all of the various health insurance options, to offer the free session. Most of the time will be devoted to participant Q & A and individual assistance, but Gaulke will also give a short presentation, entitled "What You Need to Know -- Insurance in Wisconsin," at 5:30 p.m.
It is suggested that attendees bring the following information with them: 1) a recent pay stub or tax document that can be used to verify income, 2) a list of current doctors and which health system they are with (e.g. Aurora, Pro Health, Mercy, etc.), 3) a list of current prescriptions, and 4) social security number and/or legal resident documents.
For more information, call (262) 642-6262.
