The Elegant Farmer, 1545 Main St., Mukwonago, will host an Old Fashioned Farm Fair from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on July 16 and 17. Kids of all ages are invited to enjoy good, old-fashioned family fun with the (slice of) pie-eating contest, pony rides, train rides or take a hayride through the apple orchard. Come view and hop on board the vintage antique tractors or have your picture taken as a farmer. After working up an appetite, enjoy farm fresh roasted bi-colored sweet corn, grilled brats and hot dogs, ice cream in hand rolled waffle cones, caramel corn and more.

You can keep exploring history on your visit with a ride on the East Troy Electric Railroad’s turn-of-the-century train. The beautifully restored vintage train departs from The Elegant Farmer Depot for a round trip journey 10 a.m., 11 a.m., noon, 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. Tickets are available at the depot.

The Elegant Farmer also features a Farm Kitchen Bakery, Deli and Market to bring home your favorite farm fresh delights.
