Be a Hero Party for Walworth County Tree House Child & Family Center

Ivan's Backstage, 2087 Division St., will host a "Be A Hero" fundraiser to benefit Walworth County Alliance for Children's Tree House Child and Family Center from 7 p.m. to midnight on Saturday, June 11. The event will feature live music by Rock Freeway and Viridian Moon, raffles, silent auction items, dancing, bar and food. Tickets are $10 and available at www.wcac4kids.org or at Ivan's on the Square.
All proceeds from the event will benefit the Walworth County Alliance for Children, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, that has served more than 3,000 kids in the past three years. The Tree House, located in Elkhorn, provides a special safe place where children and their families come for help if they’ve been abused sexually or physically, neglected, or exposed to domestic violence. Everything is child-centered.
Tree House brings all the needed agencies and professionals together (local police, Sheriff’s Dept., medical professionals, District Attorney’s Office, Dept. of Health and Human Services) with the children and their families so there is no need for multiple interviews and examinations that force children to relive painful memories repeatedly.
