Edited: 6/27/2016, 11:11 AM
Enjoy exclusive access to Will Radler's private 'knock-out' rose garden during a fundraiser for Nature's Classroom Institute on Sunday, June 26 from 2-4 p.m. Indulge in nature's beauty by attending an exceptional afternoon in the 2-acre garden, located in Greenfield. This fundraising event will be held rain or shine.
Radler is the developer of the popular Knock Out® shrub roses. More than 80 million Knock Out® roses have been sold since the first was introduced in 2000, making it the bestselling rose series in the United States. The event will feature cocktails and hors d'oeuvres by the renowned chef, Peggy Magister of Crazy Water in Milwaukee.
Access to the private garden will occur by way of a shuttle service. Attendees should park off-site at the Hales Corners Park and Ride lot (located on east side of Hwy 100 and south of I-43). Shuttle service to the garden will commence at 1:45 p.m., running every 15 minutes. The garden is not legally handicapped accessible as it is a private property.
The fundraiser will support the Capital Construction Campaign for Nature’s Classroom Institute's new Sky View campus. The first building on the Sky View campus will be 11,420 square feet. The facility will house multiple classrooms, an office, activity rooms and storage space. The exterior of the building has been designed to blend into the vernacular of the rural Wisconsin landscape. Nature's Classroom's new Mukwonago location encompasses 140 acres and includes an existing barn, horse stables and workshop.
