The Friends of the East Troy Lions Public Library will present its third annual play, "Death by Chocolate" by Craig Sodaro at Ivan's Backstage, 2093 Division St. Performances are set for 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 30, Oct. 1, 2 and 8 and 2 p.m. on Oct. 9. The play is directed by Mary Hubbard Nugent and produced by special arrangement with Heuer Publishing LLC. Tickets are $15. Proceeds will go toward library programming. About the show
This fast-paced comedy by Craig Sodaro takes place in the Precious Perks Coffee Shoppe where the yummy signature drink, Death by Chocolate, has claimed not one victim, but two.

Before another murder can take place a gritty private eye is brought in to investigate the odd and hilarious cast of characters. Intrigue, greed, and laughter abound before the mystery is solved. This play is produced by special arrangement with Heuer Publishing, LLC.
