Farm Commons and Michael Fields Agricultural Institute, W2493 County Road ES, will host Farm Law 101 on two dates. Workshops will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 5 and from 9 a.m to noon on Saturday, Jan. 6.

The Farm Law 101 workshop will be co-facilitated by an attorney and farmers who will focus on a variety of topics: hiring workers, leasing or buying land, implementing food safety measures, negotiating sales, forming an LLC, filing taxes and more.  

The cost for the workshop is $15 per day or $25 for both days. All workshop material is included and lunch and dinner are provided Friday with a light breakfast on Saturday. To purchase tickets, click here.
