Grassway Organics, W2716 Friemoth Road, will host a hands on class "Understand And Make Cultured Milk, Yogurt, Piima, Kefir & More" from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 6.

Join 20 year veteran fermentation aficionado and home cheese maker Linda Conroy. This class will go through the process of making several cultured milk products and simple cheese that you can easily reproduce in your own kitchen. The class will be using milk from Grassway Organics Farm, collected from the farm in the beginning of the day.

Attendees will make and take home:

• regular yogurt

• piima yogurt

• kefir

• kefir cheese

• farmer's cheese slab

• cultured butter

• attendees will receive 8 oz of Sally Fallon's Piima yogurt culture

Discussion will also cover sour cream, creme fraiche, buttermilk and the use of rennet- all of which are available in Grassway's farm store. For additional details, click here.
