Trick or Treat for the Village of East Troy, Town of East Troy and Town of Troy will be Thursday, Oct. 31 from 4 to 7 p.m.
"Obviously, this year’s Halloween Trick or Treating may look a lot different with COVID-19," the Village of East Troy said during its announcement. "Some families and residences will be choosing to participate, and some will choose not to. If you are participating and will be handing out candy, we ask you to turn on your outside house light or be outside to hand out candy during this time, so children know you are participating. If you choose not to turn off your outside house light, or make a sign advising children you are not participating but will see them next year."
Parents are reminded to closely supervise their children's activities, inspect all treats carefully, and take precautions in areas of vehicular traffic.
