East Troy Railroad Bunny Trains
Edited: 2/27/2021, 11:09 AM
The East Troy Electric Railroad is optimistic that 2021 will be the year that things start to return to normal, and its schedule for the year will look normal to regular visitors. Safety precautions will be followed to start the year, assuring the safety of its visitors and volunteers.
Bunny Trains will get things rolling featuring the East Troy Electric Railroad's Dinner Train cars with pinpoint ionization systems in place to filter and clean the air.
The railroad will be seating groups in a socially distant way, plus masks are required to board and ride the trains. The first day of the regular operating season is Saturday, April 24.
BUNNY TRAINS: THE LOWDOWN
Join the East Troy Electric Railroad for family fun aboard the East Troy Bunny Train on Saturdays, March 27 and April 3 at 10 a.m., 1 p.m., 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. and Sunday, March 28 at 10 a.m., 1 p.m., 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.
Stay in your heated vehicle and tune to the railroad's radio station (90.9 FM). Groups will be called into the East Troy Depot for check-in and use of its bathroom facilities in an orderly fashion as to not exceed reduced capacity in the Depot building. Board one of the railroad's historic trains and take a ride down to the Elegant Farmer.
During your ride, there will be coloring activities and a scavenger hunt out your window. On the return trip from the Elegant Farmer, get your picture taken with the Easter Bunny himself. All child & toddler ticket holders will receive a stuffed bunny on the return trip and jelly beans for all.
Boarding is only done at the East Troy Depot and advance reservations are required. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. All ticket sales are final. All tickets will be held at Will Call for pickup before your scheduled departure
