Camp Timber-lee, N8705 Scout Road, East Troy, will be hosting a Pumpkin Walk and Candy Crawl from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 29.
Experience the Pumpkin Walk through Timber-lee’s beautifully wooded trails, meet the animals of the Science Education Center, and spend time in the petting pen. You’ll also be treated to hot chocolate, cookies, and popcorn. The trail is 1/2 mile long.
The cost of entry is $5 per person for those older than 4. All proceeds go towards upgrading the camp's Science Education Center. Attendees may purchase two 5-pound bags of individually wrapped candy to receive one free car load admission. You can also choose to donate three carved pumpkins to receive one free car load admission (carved pumpkins must be family-friendly).
Donations be mailed to camp or brought in no later than Monday, Oct. 25 by 4 p.m. Please include your first and last name with your candy package. Donated pumpkins must be delivered on Wednesday, Oct. 27 between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m.
To volunteer at the event, contact Rebecca De Luca at rebeccadl@timber-lee.com. All volunteers will be invited to dinner prior to the event.
