Booth Lake Memorial Park will celebrate its 100th anniversary on Friday, Aug. 5 and Saturday, Aug. 6 at the park. The festivities run from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 5, and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6.

The free event will feature live music, a beer tent, food and concessions on Friday.

Saturday will have events for kids and adults by the National Guard, Town of Troy Water Patrol and the Troy Center Fire Department. Also planned are docent-led pontoon rides from lake homeowners, and a history of the park slide show.

The beach is open to the public during the celebration.

Take a trip to Booth Lake Memorial Park, N8465 Townline Road from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. The beach will remain open through Labor Day. For use exclusively by residents and property owners of the Village of East Troy, Town of East Troy and Town of Troy.
