The East Troy Area Chamber of Commerce is celebrating East Troy Community Partnerships with a joint Open House event at East Troy High School and East Troy Brewery on Friday, March 4.

3 to 5 p.m. at East Troy Brewery

East Troy High School

1 to 3 p.m.

Kick things off at East Troy High School, 3128 Graydon Ave., from 1 to 3 p.m.

Get a firsthand look at what learning is like and explore partnership opportunities by participating in the following workshops:

• Robotics Lab Demo: In this session, you will get a hands-on experience working with a Fanuc 6-axis robot. You will learn how to jog and program the robot through the school's teach pendant.

Walk and Talk/Community Partnerships: This session will provide an opportunity for attendees to tour East Troy High School while discussing its partnership opportunities.

High School staff will try to answer any and all questions you might have including Youth Apprenticeship, courses offered at the high school and transcripted credit coursework. They'd also like to hear what employers need from their students. A strong partnership between community and school benefits us all!

• Bridging from YA to RA: Employers wanting to know more about the Registered Apprenticeship program should attend this session. This workshop will look at the various RA pathways and explore the resources available to both the employer and apprentice.

• Fab Lab: Come and see the East Troy High School Fab Lab in action. Create a personalized key chain to take home with you.

• Product Photography: Get an overview of the basics for product photography. Lighting, setup, backdrops and accessories. Try out your skills on a provided product or bring your own product to photograph.
