East Troy Shell, 2526 E. Main St., has expanded its already popular convenience store offerings by opening the East Troy Soda Stop.
The new section features various 12 oz. glass bottled sodas.
“Currently we have 66 different varieties, but will soon be adding at least 50 more,” said East Troy Shell President Linda Kaplan.
She said the choices are “not your Pepsi and Mountain Dews, but instead are regional brews and some brands you may remember from your childhood, but don’t see anymore.”
Brands include the well-known Sprecher and Point, but also include Dang (made in Milwaukee), Cicero, Dog N Suds, Goose Island, III Dachshunds, Fentimans, Virgils, Dry, Natural Brew, Frostie and Route 66.
Coming soon are brands such as O-so, Reading, Avery, Cheerwine, Vernors, Zuberfizz, Moxie and Bubble Up, Howdy, Mr. Cola, R Pep, Lemmy and more.
Customers can buy four or six-packs, individual bottles or create their own six-pack.
“They are fun and something unexpected,” said Kaplan.
