Your Guide to the East Troy Lions Club Fourth of July Celebration

Ring in the nation's birthday this week with the East Troy Lions Club Fourth of July Celebration. The Lions are bringing back the Independence Day staple to the East Troy community for the 81st year.
 
The festival will run Thursday, June 28 through Sunday, July 1 at the East Troy Amusement Park, 3072 Graydon Ave., next to the East Troy Lions Public Library.
 
Each day will feature multiple food stands, a carnival and the largest beer tent in the area with live entertainment every night. The Area's Largest Fourth of July Parade is Sunday, July 1 beginning at 1 p.m. There will be a huge fireworks display at dark on Sunday, July 1.  

The East Troy Beer Tent hours are Thursday from 5 p.m. to midnight, Friday from 5 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., Saturday from noon to 12:30 a.m. and Sunday from noon to 10 p.m.
 
The carnival will run Thursday from  5 to 11 p.m., Friday, 5 to 11 p.m., Saturday, noon to 11 p.m. and Sunday, 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. and features wristband times all four days. Carnival wristbands are available for $25 at the festival or $15 in advance at Citizens Bank (inside Piggly Wiggly, 3238 W. Main St.) and Citizens Bank East Brook Office, 2541A E. Main St., First Citizens State Bank, 2456 Main St., Rhode's Towing and Repair, 2606 Main St., and Gus's Drive-In, 3131 Main St. Megabands (for unlimited rides during operating times) are available for $40 in advance and $50 at the festival. Ride tickets are $1 each or 30 for $25.

Thursday, June 28

Friday, June 29

6 p.m. & 8 p.m.: Wayne the Wizard show in the Amusement Park Grandstand
8:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.: Bella Cain will play on the ETBT stage


Saturday, June 30

9 a.m. to 2 p.m.: East Troy Lions 17th annual car show will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at East Troy Middle School, 3143 Graydon Ave. The registration fee is $10. Noon: Luck of Draw Dart Tournament sign up begins at ETBT. Entry fee is $10. $1,000 will be added to the prize money. For more information, visit www.tomsawyerdarts.com
3 p.m..: Truck and Tractor Pulls at 2021 West St. Midwest Tractor & Truck Pulls, including Super Stock trucks and tractors, lite/combo and altered farm tractors, pro street gas and diesel trucks, pullers and more. 5 p.m.: Wrist wrestling at the beer tent
6 p.m. to 11 p.m.: Carnival Wristbands
8 p.m. to midnight: Rebel Grace will perform at the ETBT.


Sunday, July 1

1 to 10 p.m.: Carnival featuring Cassidy's Critters pony rides, monkey trailer, petting zoo and face painting
1 to 6 p.m.: Carnival Wristbands
1 p.m.: The East Troy parade with theme “American Super Heroes will begin at the corner of Main and West streets and travel east to the East Troy Village Square, north on Division Street, west on Elm Street, south on Beulah Avenue and west on Graydon Avenue. The parade will feature the East Troy High School Band, Pioneer Drum Bugle Corps, Sun Prairie Marching Band, Oregon High School Marching Band and more.
4 p.m.: Kiddie Pedal Tractor Pulls- Wisconsin state sanctioned at the Amusement Park Grandstand. No entry fee.
5 to 9 p.m.: Chasin Mason will perform at the ETBT.
8 p.m.: The East Troy Lions Club raffle winner will be announced in the ETBT. Enter for your chance to win a Harley Davidson motorcycle, Polaris Ranger, Chevy car or $12,000 cash. Second prize- fifth prize is $200. Tickets are available at Rhode's Towing, Gus's Drive-In or from any Lions Club member. Tickets are limited.
6:30 p.m.: Wayne the Wizard show in the Amusement Park Grandstand
Dark: East Troy Lions Club fireworks display is scheduled at dark (no rain date) at the Amusement Park, 3072 Gradyon Ave.
