Your Guide to the East Troy Lions Fourth of July Celebration

 

Ring in the nation's birthday in East Troy with the East Troy Lions Club 82nd annual Fourth of July Celebration.

The festival will run Thursday, July 4 through Sunday, July 7 at the East Troy Amusement Park, 3072 Graydon Ave., (next to the East Troy Lions Public Library.)
 
Each day will feature multiple food stands, a carnival and the largest beer tent in the area with live entertainment every night. The Area's Largest Fourth of July Parade "Salute to the American Farmer" is Sunday, July 7 beginning at noon. There will be a huge fireworks display at dark on Saturday, July 6 at dark.

The East Troy Beer Tent hours are Thursday, July 4 from 2 p.m. to midnight, Friday, July 5 from 5 p.m. to midnight, Saturday, July 6 from noon to midnight and Sunday, July 7 from 1 to 7 p.m.
 
The carnival will run Thursday, July 4 from  2 to 11 p.m., Friday, July 5 from 5 to 11 p.m., Saturday, July 6 from noon to 11 p.m. and Sunday, July 7 from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. and features wristband times all four days. Carnival wristbands are available for $25 at the festival or $15 in advance at Citizens Bank (inside Piggly Wiggly, 3238 W. Main St.) and Citizens Bank East Brook Office, 2541A E. Main St., First Citizens State Bank, 2456 Main St., Rhode's Towing and Repair, 2606 Main St., and Gus's Drive-In, 3131 Main St. Megabands (for unlimited rides during operating times) are available for $40 in advance and $50 at the festival.

Thursday, July 4

2 to 11 p.m.: Carnival featuring Cassidy's Critters pony rides, monkeys, petting zoo and face painting
4 to 10 p.m.: Carnival wristbands

8:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.: The Cheap Shots

Friday, July 5

5 to 11 p.m.: Carnival featuring Cassidy's Critters pony rides, monkeys, petting zoo and face painting
6 to 11 p.m.: Carnival wristbands
6 p.m. & 8 p.m.: Wayne the Wizard show in the Amusement Park Grandstand
8 to 11:30 p.m.:  Lunch Money Bullies will perform in the East Troy Beer Tent


Saturday, July 6

9 a.m. to 2 p.m.: East Troy Lions 18th annual car show & bike show will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at East Troy Middle School, 3143 Graydon Ave. The registration fee is $10. Registration opens at 9 a.m. Cars must register by 11 a.m. Pre-register here. Voting is from 9 a.m. to noon. Noon to 5 p.m.: Carnival Wristbands
2 to 6 p.m.: Dirty Boogie will play on the ETBT stage
5 p.m.: Wrist wrestling at the beer tent
6 to 11 p.m.: Carnival Wristbands
8 p.m. to midnight: Mount Olive will perform at the ETBT.

Dark: East Troy Lions Club fireworks display is scheduled at dark (no rain date) at the Amusement Park, 3072 Gradyon Ave.


Sunday, July 7

1 to 7 p.m.: Carnival featuring Cassidy's Critters pony rides, monkeys, petting zoo and face painting
2 to 7 p.m.: Carnival Wristbands
noon: The East Troy parade with theme “Salute to the American Farmer" will begin at the corner of Main and West streets and travel east to the East Troy Village Square, north on Division Street, west on Elm Street, south on Beulah Avenue and west on Graydon Avenue. The parade will feature the East Troy High School Band, Sun Prairie Marching Band, Saints of Canada Marching Band and more.
4 p.m.: Kiddie Pedal Tractor Pulls- Wisconsin state sanctioned at the Amusement Park Grandstand. No entry fee.
3 to 7 p.m.: FM Radio will perform at the ETBT.
6 p.m.: The East Troy Lions Club raffle winner will be announced in the ETBT. Enter for your chance to win a Harley Davidson motorcycle, Polaris Ranger, Chevy car or $8,000 cash. Second prize is $500 and third through fifth prize is $250. Tickets are available at Rhode's Towing - Repair - Sales, Gus's Drive-In or from any Lions Club member. Tickets are limited.
