East Troy Brewery, 2905 Main St., will kick off the weekend, Nov. 15-17, with two small batch beer releases:
La Perla Negra
From Head Brewer Ryan Hammerel: This was a special beer brewed in a collaboration with our kitchen for an exclusive beer and food paired dinner party. The beer was brewed with caramel and biscuit malts, along with grains of paradise to add some spice. Expect to experience notes of sweetness in the body and subtle black pepper and ginger notes from the grains of paradise. Enjoy this limited beer while it is available.
4.5% - ABV, 35 - IBU
Blonde Rapture
From Head Brewer Ryan Hammerel: This was a beer brewed because of its popularity and in conjunction with our kitchen for an exclusive beer and food paired dinner party. This beer was brewed with locally sourced clover honey. Coriander seed and orange peel were added, as well as being fermented at a much higher temperature than normal to bring out special flavors and aromas driven from the particular yeast strain used in this batch. Enjoy this limited beer while it is available.
10% - ABV, 25 - IBU
The Brewery will continue its beer release celebration with the release of Smooth Sailing on Wednesday, Nov. 20 with a special member release and release to the public on Thursday, Nov. 21.
Smooth Sailing R.3
From Head Brewer Ryan Hammerel: The base for this beer was our Matty Nut Brown aged in Allary French oak merlot barrels for four months. The complexity of the nut brown and the merlot both work well together to create a great balance of flavors. This beer has picked up the dryness of the merlot and added notes of black cherry, plum, and choca. Enjoy this limited release while it's available.
10% - A.B.V., 35 - IBU
Winter's Coming - A Coconut Porter
From Head Brewer Ryan Hammerel: This beer was brewed with toasted coconut and Cholaca, which is 100 percent liquid coca. Imagine a mound candy bar when you drink this big porter.
9% - ABV, 35 - IBU
