Hit the Slopes at Alpine Valley Resort

Ski season is here and Alpine Valley Resort is ready for you to have an incredible experience on its slopes.

Alpine Valley Resort, voted  number one for family resort and number one for snow making, offers an ideal chance to get outdoors with plenty of open space for guests to spread out.

“We offer services that you would see out west but for half the price and locally,” said Elizabeth Firestone, Ski and Snowboard Director.

New this year, Alpine is featuring a new beginner area, new magic carpet, new groomer, five new snow guns, new LED lights on the hill and a completed new outdoor pavilion.

Alpine features over 100 skiable acres with 20 runs that range from beginner to expert with a vertical drop of 388 feet. The longest run is 3,000 feet. The hill also includes three terrain parks, which offer a variety of rails, boxes and snow features.

Updates on features are posted online.

Learn to Ski

Alpine offers classes for beginners to well-seasoned skiers and riders.

“If you are looking to get back on the slopes or brush up on your skills, classes with one of Alpine’s qualified and enthusiastic instructors are a great way to start the season,” Firestone said.

“Instructors will help you learn a new sport and improve skills for all ages and levels to enjoy skiing and snowboarding.  Signing up is easy with online booking.”

Students can get discounted rates by joining their school’s ski club.

Alpine’s rental room offers rentals for children or adult boots, skis, snowboards, and helmets to start your new adventure.  (Alpine does not rent goggles, snow pants or gloves)

Visit Alpine’s ski shop to check out the latest industry fashion.

After hitting the slopes, visit Alpine’s indoor café for a slice of pizza, chicken tenders, fries and more.

Warm up with a cup of coffee or hot chocolate at its new coffee shop. Visit its outside bar or grill on the weekends.

If you are looking for a more elegant dining experience, visit Alpine’s fireside or dining room.  Valley View Lounge will feature musicians while you enjoy food and drinks throughout the season.
