East Troy's First Fridays event series returns
Entertainment enthusiasts, mark your calendars for an assortment of special events to take place at East Troy Village Square Park with the return of East Troy’s First Fridays series, May-November.
“First Fridays are a way to celebrate everything our town has to offer and reconnect locals with the businesses we have here,” said Vanessa Lenz, East Troy Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director.
Events like Food Truck Fest and the East Troy Art Walk became instant favorites and will return in 2018, along with a host of new events as we continue to grow and ensure a full season of activities.
Each First Friday, May-November, will feature a showcase event at East Troy Village Square Park with surrounding local businesses collaborating to bring an afternoon and evening of fun.

Friday, May 4
MAY THE FOURTH BE WITH YOU
Kick off the 2018 First Fridays season from 5 - 8 p.m. on Friday, May 4 at East Troy Village Square Park, 2881 Main St., by celebrating Star Wars Day.
Star Wars fans are invited to turn up from far-away galaxies for a light saber class, face painting craft station, make you own foam lightsaber and plenty of other Star Wars themed activities.

Tempt your taste buds with this mix of the area’s best food trucks and local restaurant vendors.

FAMILY NIGHT SQUARE TAKEOVER:
Join us for a family-friendly night out at East Troy Village Square Park, 2881 Main St. featuring food, music, classic games, kids crafts and movie screening.

SQUARE FEST
A local music festival where businesses become stages and venues for area bands. Event will feature food trucks and other activities at East Troy Village Square Park.
Friday, Sept. 7
The event will kick off the 25th annual East Troy Bluegrass Festival weekend and will feature food trucks, kids crafts, free family fun, live music by Noah John & Ringing Iron, First Fridays beer tent and more.
Friday, Oct. 5
SCARE ON THE SQUARE
This family-friendly party, which includes fall fun, pumpkin-carving contest, food vendors, craft beer and performance artists, culminates in a pet and owner costume contest at East Troy Village Square Park.
Friday, Nov. 2
EAST TROY ART & WINE WALK AVEC FROMAGE
A collaboration of local artists, galleries, non-profits and businesses to celebrate the arts in East Troy.
