The East Troy Area Historical Society in cooperation with the East Troy High School Cross Country team will host the Blast to the Past 5K on Saturday, Aug. 19. Registration and packet pick up begin at 7:30 a.m. and the run begins at 9 a.m.

New for 2017 is Kiddos 1K Comic-Book/Action Hero themed race to begin at 8:45 a.m. for kids 10 and younger. All kiddos get a finishers medal. Registration is $10 and does not include a shirt but they can be purchased during checkout.

Registration is $30 for pre-registered runners and $35 on race day. Information on route, parking, vendors and sponsors is available here

Special awards will go to overall male and female winners and 1st—3rd place awards for male and female participants in each age group (10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 & over). 

All runners registered by Aug. 12 will be guaranteed a custom dry wick shirt.
